Dr. Adesegun AKIN-OLUGBADE, OON

Dr. Adesegun Akin-Olugbade is an international lawyer and finance expert with over three decades of experience in corporate governance, project finance, and structured trade. He holds law degrees from King’s College London and Harvard Law School.

He has served in key roles at AfDB, Afreximbank, and as COO of AFC. He leads Luwaji Advisory, and has advised firms like Clifford Chance and AELEX.

He chairs NSIA Insurance, is Vice-Chairman of OBA Group, and sits on boards including NG Clearing, AFAP, ETI, and ARM. He was appointed Chairman of NISO by the Federal Government.

A member of MOCOMILA and the first African on the World Trade Board, he has completed executive programs at Wharton, IMD, HEC Montreal, and NAICOM. He received the OON national honour in 2012.
