Mathieu Benjamin Aimé LAWSON

Mathieu LAWSON is a seasoned lawyer and insurance expert. He earned his Law degree and Master’s in Private Law and Business Careers from the University of Abidjan.

He is an alumnus of the National Insurance School of Paris (ENAS) and holds a Certificate in Insurance from CNAM, Paris. He also obtained a Baccalaureate A4 Series in the Republic of Benin.

Mathieu is the Founder and Managing Associate of Beninvest Assurances and the Founder/Chairman of Firstnet S.A.. He previously served as Managing Director of SONAR, the national insurance company of Benin.

He sits on the boards of several companies and currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at NSIA Insurance Limited.
